Eliana Stockwell-Ferber

Youth and Young Adult Program Manager

@NAMI Thurston/Mason

    After a childhood with an undiagnosed anxiety disorder and a depression diagnosis at age eleven Eliana Stockwell-Ferber had a mental health crisis in her early twenties. It was at that time she got involved with NAMI Thurston Mason as a source of support and education. Through the lens of someone with lived experience with a mental health condition, Eliana has been a volunteer with NAMI for over six years. She has shared her story of living in recovery countless times as an In Our Own Voice Presenter for civic groups, colleges, state departments and her local in-patient psychiatric unit. More recently, Eliana became a trained Ending the Silence Presenter, giving presentations on mental health to middle and high schoolers in Thurston and Mason county schools. Although today’s presentation is Eliana’s volunteerism with NAMI, Eliana currently works as a Program Manager for NAMI Thurston Mason’s Youth and Young Adult Programs. She lives in West Olympia with her partner, Stevie, her beloved emotional support dog Griffin and her crazy cute black cat, Equinox.
