Madeline Federico

NAMI Youth Volunteer

@NAMI

    Madeline Federico first began to volunteer with NAMI through her university, which has a NAMI club. She became president of NAMI club and wanted to do more. Eventually, she got trained in many of NAMI’s programs and has been volunteering ever since. Mental health advocacy work is a passion of Madeline’s and she wants to do her part to end the stigma on mental health. She feels NAMI has been a great place to start. Madeline is a psychology major and plans to get her PsyD in counseling. She hopes to work within the prison system and eventually in a mental hospital. In her free time, you can find her on her university’s cheer team or spending time with her bunny, Franklin.
